Our story
Carolina Charm is a family owned retail garden shop and micro lavender farm. We sell beautifully handcrafted birdhouses & bird feeders, plants, and variety of unique items for your home and garden.
We cherish the history of the land we operate on. Our store is actually the home that my great-great-grandfather built for his family in 1892. He had eleven children and was a farmer as well as a crew member at the U.S. Lifesaving Service Station in Kitty Hawk.

Birdhouses
Known for our beautiful copper roof birdhouses and feeders that are made in North Carolina (and available for purchase online). We carry birdhouses specifically for Purple Martins and Bluebirds, as well as houses & feeders that will satisfy a variety of birds.
We carry a selection of bird baths, concrete figurines, hummingbird feeders, wind chimes, replica lighthouses, wind spinners, rain chains, metal art, and more.
Plants
Our spring & summer plant selection includes flowering annuals and tropicals (mandevilla, plumbago, hibiscus, etc), foliage tropicals that also make great houseplants, perennials such as confederate jasmine, hydrangea, azalea, etc., and succulents, air plants & cacti.
Specializing in lavender, we sell both English and French lavender plants. We love herbs and will often have a selection of common + unique herbs for sale.
Lavender & Flowers
Lavender and specialty cut flowers are the newest addition to the business. We use organic farming practices, and everything is planted, harvested and weeded by hand. It is a lot to keep up with while also running the store, but it’s a labor of love. We welcome visitors to our small lavender field from June through early July for Lavender You-Pick. Our fresh flowers are available from late April - October, with dried flowers and dried lavender being available all year.
